Paint

I still can't dye anything without assistance, so I'm painting instead, as I can do this on my board, and hang the fabric in the bathroom to dry. Here's the results of this morning's efforts. I particularly like the "striped" ones at the back, and the purple one on the right - I put some gel medium on this, so it has an interesting background texture which may not be visible in the photo.

DEEE-lish Fabrics!! I've been hankering to get dyeing again myself.....I don't have a "proper " place to do it but I've been known to put the bathtub to use......

Thanks, Schnoobie. I do much of my dyeing in trays stacked up on the table - you don't need a lot of space unless you're making large quantities. And I confess that I bought the table for this purpose - I don't usually eat on it!

I love the stripes. I do a lot of dyeing in jars for LWI and plastic food containers with lids for painting and curing. If it rains the top of the washing machine comes into play rather than the garden.
